Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 2026-07-08
The Dunmore East Woods and Park Trust is committed to ensuring that this website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Our aim is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we have done
This website uses semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and named landmarks; provides a “skip to main content” link on every page; includes descriptive alternative text for all meaningful images; maintains sufficient colour contrast between text and background; supports full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators; uses relative units so text can be resized without loss of content; and remains usable across screen sizes and devices, including with a screen reader.
Known limitations
Some historical images and scanned documents may not yet have full text alternatives. We are working to address this as content is added to the site.
Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you experience any difficulty using it, or would like content in an alternative format, please contact us at woodsandpark@gmail.com or on (087) 258 1359, and we will do our best to help.
